Beyond the ordinary — herbal potentials
What we teach and how our extracts are made
This is where our journey together begins. This is where you get to know RedFern, what we do, and how we're committed to quality, empowerment and education. Where clients and students learn how to incorporate food medicine into everyday life. Hopefully for generations to come. We're glad you're here to be a part of our story.
RedFern Herbal Extracts are created by using Sound Waves. This style of extraction is new to herbalism and very powerful if used with respect and understanding. Sound waves or Cavitation opens up cell walls of the herb, spice, root, or seed to extract more powerfully and with less degradation to delicate compounds. Without evaporating volatile oils, often requiring careful temperature management.
We take pride in the quality, heart, and intention that goes into formulating these Everyday Superfoods Extracts and Infusions. As well as the education and empowerment we bring to our client/students. Redfern believes in community, continued education, locally sourcing, and wild harvesting whenever possible.
We believe there is enough overwhelm!
We do a simple 7 question Inflammation Typing page. This is a way to see where the inflammation is centered and gives a basic starting point. Then you will have guided suggestions for a couple extracts to begin your cellular support journey.

The RedFern Difference
Sound wave herbalism
Herbal medicine has always been about unlocking the healing power of plants. Traditionally, this meant slow infusions, long steeping times, and patience of extraction. Through ultrasonic cavitation, sound waves break open plant cells, allowing their medicinal compounds to release more efficiently into oils, alcohols, glycerin, honey — really whatever menstruum you decide to use. What once took weeks can now happen in hours.
This Guide teaches you how easy and affordable it is to bring herbalism into your home with the modern technology of a Ultrasonic Cavitation machine. The heart of the book is to bring alternative, holistic medicine home to the average family for generations to come!

Medicine that looks like tea time.
The "infusions" half of our name is the everyday half. A few drops under the tongue, in tea, or in juice — always shaken well first — and the ritual fits inside the day you already have. No regimen, no overwhelm; just a warm cup that happens to be working.
